Trial in Portugal offers soccer players an opportunity to be scouted by professional Portuguese clubs to earn a trial in Europe.

Our first Scouting ID Camp is planned for April 16th to 18th, from 9AM to 3PM, in San Francisco at Beach Chalet Athletic Fields.

Trial in Portugal will bring three professional soccer clubs to coach and scout Northern California's top talent. Two 1st Division soccer clubs will be present, Primeira Liga's Braga & CD Nacional and one 2nd Division club: Leixoes. There is no other opportunity like this in the USA!

The scouting ID camp...

Is for Male and Female players from 9 to 22 years old.

Has a capacity of roughly 100 players, this ensures attention and evaluation from the coaches and scouts.

Will be divided into groups accordingly.

Provides custom kits for each player.

Gives player evaluations by professional scouts.

Identifies "The Bay Area 1st Team" for players ages 9 to 11, Trial in Portugal will facilitate and coordinate training opportunities in Europe for these exceptional players.

Selects the two best prospects to trial in Europe.​​​​

The highly coveted trial lasts two weeks and includes accommodation, lunch, dinner, professional training and transportation to and from training. Round trip airfare is also provided.​ The cost of the trial and round trip airfare to the prospect is $0.​​​​

The fee to attend the 3 or 5 day camp will range from $600 to $1,000. Once the length of the camp is finalized we will inform the players that have submitted their Interest Form.
An invoice will be emailed when the schedule is confirmed by Trial in Portugal. The fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.
